It’s been a year of change and global growth for SimplyPayMe. We’ve changed our name, been shortlisted for awards, invited to join the Mayor’s International Business Programme and we are now absolutely delighted to announce that Leda Glyptis will be joining the SimplyePayMe board.
A self-titled ‘Fintech nerd’ and true industry superstar, Leda has more than 14 years’ experience within the financial sector. As a ‘recovering banker’, Fintech advisor, entrepreneur and investor, she brings an impressive degree of practical knowledge and expertise to the SimplyPayMe board.

Prior to that, she worked across a variety of departments at BNY Mellon, the largest custody bank in the world.
Leda is a passionate and renowned speaker, writer and academic, regularly speaking on tech delivery and digital transformation at industry events – including this year’s virtual Fintech Summit. “Payments has seen most of the activity in corporate innovation in recent years and yet the needle is yet to truly move for the SMEs and business owners whose lives continue to get increasingly challenging. SimplyPayMe comes with a mission to serve and support the businesses that are the backbone of the economy with services and solutions that are in tune with the client’s needs. The commitment to this mission is clear in the product, the offering, the positioning, the recent pivot and the passion of the team driving this engine. I am excited to be joining this board and this journey.” Leda Glyptis commented.
The combination of in-depth industry experience and down to earth approach makes Leda a perfect fit for the SimplyPayMe board as the company moves into the next phase of growth and development.
‘We’re thrilled to be able to welcome Leda to the SimplyPayMe board,’ said Kent Vorland, SimplyPayMe CEO. ‘Her knowledge, attitude and insight will be invaluable as we extend the B2B arm of our business, and position the company as a leader in the modular payments technology space.
