SimplyPayMe Selected for Mayor’s International Business Programme

We are delighted to announce that SimplyPayMe has been chosen for a coveted place on the Mayor’s International Business Programme! Beating off stiff competition from many other companies vying for selection, we will now benefit from world-class support as we look to accelerate our scale-up.

The Mayor’s International Business Programme is open for high-growth London based businesses who are looking to expand internationally. We join an elite list of companies considered to be some of the hottest prospects in London currently.

The programme will kick off in September, and we’ll be joining the 17th cohort of businesses for this rare opportunity. Our exclusive group of startups and scale-ups will be able to access expert advice, one-on-one mentoring and unique business opportunities. The programme will open up a global network of contacts and leads across Europe, North America, China and India, meaning our goals of world domination in the payments industry will be one step closer!

We are in good company too, more than 250 companies are currently being supported by the programme and alumni include Yoyo Wallet, Bossa and Antidote to name but a few.

The programme is run by not-for-profit organisation London & Partners on behalf of the Mayor. From 2011 to 2018, London & Partners has helped to add 1.5bn to London’s economy, supported or created more than 48,000 jobs and helped almost 2,000 companies to set up or expand in London.

This recent news rounds up what has been an exciting couple of months for SimplyPayMe, and the start of what promises to be a breakthrough year. Over the past 13 years we’ve been working tirelessly to get to where we are today and are thrilled to be taking the next steps on our journey. Being able to take advantage of all these resources available to us during the next 12 months offers us a huge step up on the way to accelerating our global growth.

In the coming weeks we’ll be able to share more of our good news with you…watch this space!
